Outdoor field rentals are available at Ralph Cantafio Soccer Complex and Shaughnessy Park from April to November.  Although primarily used for soccer, the complex can also be used for other sports and activities. The rental information outlined below is for basic field rentals only. Rental fees are listed based on the field formation that you are using. Here are the guidelines for each of the field size:

  • Quarter field rental rate is for one quarter field, all curtains down, using the small nets.

  • Half field rental rate is for one half field used for game play with the east or west curtain up and using the mid-sized nets. A half field cannot be divided into two quarter fields for the half field rate. If you require two quarter fields, the cost would be $350 per hour.

  • Full field rental rate is for one full field used for game play with all curtains up and the full-sized nets. Full fields cannot be divided into quarter or half fields for the full field rate. If you require smaller fields, the quarter and half field rates as stated below will apply.


Rental rates vary depending on the time, day and date that you require. Taxes are included in all listed prices. The rental information outlined below is for basic field rentals only. If you are planning an event or special game, please refer to the Special Events information at the bottom of this page.

Hourly rental rates for all fields are:

  • Monday to Friday daytime rentals ending before 6:00pm are $75.00 per hour

  • Monday to Friday rentals after 6:00pm are $105.00 per hour

  • Saturdays, Sundays, holidays (any time of day) are $105.00 per hour

  • GST is included in all rates.


  • All rentals include the use of the field nets, flags, benches and scoreclocks. Usage of the dressing rooms are not available for all rentals and should be discussed at the time of booking.

  • Details of how you plan to use the fields must be discussed at the time of booking your field rental. All usage must be pre-approved prior to your rental date. The WSF may refuse field play or access that is not pre-arranged at the time of booking.

  • Soccer balls or any other equipment are not provided and are the responsibility of the user.

  • You will be allowed access to the facility 15 minutes prior to the start of your field time to accommodate participant arrivals and 15 minutes after the conclusion of your field time to allow for exiting. If you require additional time before or after your rental, additional rental fees may apply.  This applies to time needed for registrations if required.

The rental information outlined above is for basic field rentals only. Please contact the WSF office if you are planning a special event such as a tournament, camp/clinic, fundraiser, corporate function or a game/event that attracts many spectators. We would be happy to assist you with your event plans and provide you with a price quote based on your requirements.

To provide you with accurate pricing, you will be required to provide an outline including the full details and requirements of your event. Rental pricing is based on the duration of your rental, field requirements, spectator attendance, staffing requirements, cleaning, etc. Additional fees may also be added if you plan to charge admission, require time for set-up/take-down and if you will be displaying advertising.
