COVID-19 POLICIES & PROCEDURES
INDOOR FACILITIES
WSF SOCCER SOUTH FACILITY

PRIOR TO ARRIVING AT THE FACILITY, REVIEW THE PROVINCE OF MANITOBA’S COVID-19 PRE-SCREENING TOOL. IF YOU HAVE SYMPTOMS, DO NOT ENTER THE FACILITY AND START FOLLOWING COVID-19 PROCEDURES IMMEDIATELY.​

All users of our facilities must review the policies and procedures contained within this information package. It is the league and team representative’s responsibility to distribute this information to all participants and ensure they understand and will adhere to these policies and procedures. If your group requires assistance, please contact the Winnipeg Soccer Federation in advance of your rental date to discuss how we can assist you.

MASKS ARE MANTITORY AT THE FACILITY

Masks must be worn at all times while in WSF facilities, including on the field during play.

Anyone refusing to wear a mask will be required to exit the premises.

If you are unable to wear a mask for medical/other reasons, you will be required to have medical documentation in support of this. A copy of this documentation is to be with you while at the facility and may need to be provided if required by a COVID-19 Enforcement Officer.

Children four years old and your younger are not required to wear a mask.

All patrons must supply their own masks. Masks are available to purchase for $1 at the Information Booth.
MANDATORY CONTACT TRACING

A list of all players and coaches must be provided to the Winnipeg Soccer Federation prior to the start of your field time.

No drop-in rental sessions. Participants must be confirmed prior to your rental date.

This list is to include the date, time at the facility, team name, coach’s name and phone number plus the names of all players attending.

This list can be emailed to admin@wpgsf.com prior to 4:00pm on your rental date. If your rental is on a weekend, the WSF must receive your list prior to 4:00pm on Friday.

If you cannot provide a list in advance, you can bring it with you to the facility. You can also pick up a Contact Tracing Form at the Information Booth to complete when you arrive. Your completed form must be returned to the Information Booth before your field session begins.

All spectators must sign in at the facility. A table will be set-up at the entrance on the concourse level to enter your
information on the Contact Tracing Form. -

PRACTICE OPTIONS:
OPTION 1: ONE GROUP OF 10 PEOPLE PER QUARTER FIELD

One group of up to 10 players plus coaches is allowed on one quarter field if the field is not shared with any other individuals. Example: practicing with 5v5 scrimmage

Coaches cannot participate on the field if the group of players is already at 10.
OPTION 2: TWO GROUPS OF 10 PER QUARTER FIELD

Two groups of 10 players, plus coaches, can practice on one quarter field.

The centre line on the field is used as a divider between the groups. Do not crowd the centre line and be sure that each group is at least 6’ away from each other while in the middle of the field.

Players cannot cross the centre line to the other side of the field and must remain in their group.

Practices can include 5v5 scrimmages within the group but players cannot mix with the other group.

The quarter size nets are to remain in the goal area. Do not reposition these nets.

Pop-up nets can be used but are not provided by the facility. The facility does not store equipment.
FIELD FORMATION

All fields will be separated into quarter field formation with curtains down and nets in the goal area.
PRE-GAME PROCEDURES

Review the maps in the facility information package to acquaint yourself with where you are to go once you arrive at the facility.​

Be dressed to play before departing for the facility. If possible, change into your playing shoes once inside the facility.

Arrive within 15 minutes of your rental time. There will be no field level access prior to this time.

Proceed directly to your team waiting area beside your assigned playing field. Spread out as much as possible to adhere to physical distancing guidelines.

Select dressing rooms will be available to use for washroom purposes only. No changing or showering will be allowed.

Do not enter your assigned field until the WSF staff have finished the disinfecting process and give clearance to proceed.

Once on the field, locate a BLUE DOT on the sidelines and place personal items here. This is your area for the duration of the game/practice. When not playing, players stand by their bag to maintain a physical distance from team members. Benches may be used as rest areas. Please do not bring valuables into the facility. The WSF is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
POST-GAME PROCEDURES

Time is limited between groups so do not linger. Quickly change into your outdoor attire and collect your belongings.

Proceed quickly to your designated field exit, proceed up to the concourse through your designated field level door and then continue out the main doors of the facility to exit.

All players and spectators are to exit as quickly as possible. Do not congregate on the concourse or at the exit areas.

YOUTH PLAYERS: Parents are to arrange to meet their children on the concourse level. There will be no loitering allowed at the main entrances/exits of the facilities.
ADHERANCE: All protocols set forth by the Province of Manitoba, Winnipeg Soccer Federation, Manitoba Soccer Association and Sport Manitoba must be adhered to at all times. Any group not adhering will be asked to modify their session to fit
the protocols. If this is not done immediately, your session will be cancelled with no refund provided. If a fine is issued to the WSF due to the behaviour of your group, you will be responsible for the full cost of the fine.

Adjustments may be made to procedures. Follow the guidance of the WSF staff and adhere to the signs posted at the facilities. All policies set by the Province of Manitoba must be followed at all times.
